Description

Dried figs from Turkey, shaped as flattened golden disks, with supple skin and soft flesh. Their taste of honey and ripe fruit comes with the crunch of their tiny seeds. Our catalog lists them as having no added sugar: their sweetness comes from the fruit.

Serve them with tea, whole or cut into quarters, with walnut halves for Achoura, or stuffed with an almond. In the kitchen, cut them into a sweet and savory tagine, a salad or a breakfast bowl; they also go very well with cheese.
