Description
These small whole tomatoes are dried until dense and soft, a wrinkled, glossy garnet red. Their taste surprises those who don't know them: fruity, slightly sweet, with the tomato's bright acidity on the finish.
They're served like other dried fruits, in a small bowl with tea, and bring an unexpected note to a fakya platter. Halved, they also go with cheese, a mixed salad or a snack platter with olives and almonds.
