Description

Small, elongated orange-red berries, dried goji berries have a tender chew and a mild taste, close to a raisin, with a tart, slightly herbal note. These are labeled unsweetened in our catalog.

They're eaten as they are, by the small handful, or over a bowl of yogurt, oats or fruit salad. They pair well with almonds and cashews in a snack mix. A few minutes in warm water is enough to soften them before cooking.

How to enjoy it
  • Over a yogurt, porridge or granola
  • In a mix with almonds and cashews
  • Rehydrated for a few minutes for a salad or dessert
Storage

In an airtight jar, somewhere dry and away from light. In hot weather, the refrigerator keeps them supple longer.

Questions about unsweetened dried goji berries

What does “unsweetened” mean?
It's the label in our catalog: no extra sugar is added to the berries. Like any dried fruit, they keep the sugar of the fruit itself.
Do they need soaking before eating?
No, they're eaten as they are. For a recipe, a few minutes' soak in warm water makes them softer.
