Description

Whole dried apricots, a luminous orange. Their flesh is soft, with the balance of sweetness and acidity typical of apricots. They are labeled unsweetened in our catalog: their sweetness comes from the fruit.

Served with tea, they join almonds and walnuts on a fakya platter. In the kitchen, they melt into a lamb or chicken tagine with dried fruit, and can be stuffed with an almond for guests. Diced, they flavor a loaf cake, a granola or a mixed salad.

How to enjoy it
  • On the tea table, with almonds and walnuts
  • In a sweet and savory lamb or chicken tagine
  • Stuffed with an almond, or diced into a loaf cake
Storage

In an airtight container, somewhere cool and dry, away from light. In very hot weather, keep them in the refrigerator.

Questions about unsweetened dried apricots

What does “unsweetened” mean?
It's the label in our catalog: no extra sugar is added to the apricots. Their sweetness comes from the fruit itself.
Can I put them in a tagine?
Yes. Add them 15 to 20 minutes before the end of cooking so they stay whole and melting.
